It’s quiet. No kids screaming… neighbors a/c units are off… cars aren’t to be seen. So we are drinking wine, and getting to hang out as a couple. a rare treat!

this is what you get with over three weeks of DIY construction, and complete rearrangement of an office. i still have a long way to go, and it must be spotless tomorrow… *sigh*

Well, I’m not much of a woodworker or carpenter, but I’m pretty proud of how my latest project worked out! As any of the two or three people who actually ever read this page know, I am in the process of starting a business, and spend a great deal of time in my home office. Well, I have been disorganized and cramped on a crappy 3′x5′ table as the entirety of my office acoutrements. Well, I did something about it!
AND for those of you who know that I am (or at least was) a Second Life geek, you’ll also be interested to know that I planned the entire concept in SL! And I think I did a pretty good job matching concept to reality! Judge for yourself:

I even used it to figure out how much wood I would need (only roughly to scale):
Not bad, huh! I’m rather proud, and now that I’m all moved in and using it - I am loving the extra space!
