Quick post to announce the success of my son Marshall on 2-wheels! It appears that he’s a natural! We took off the training wheels, and had 100% success! Dad didn’t have the presence of mind to videotape the event, but I snapped a pic with my iPhone.

The trick is in the Razor scooter! They do that for long enough, and they get the whole balance with the handlebars thing down pat! Transition is painless! We have been watching BMX stunt videos on Youtube to get him psyched up for the “next level”.
So, WTG, Marshall!
Well, it has taken down my Daughter first. All night two nights ago with a bout of stomach flu. Quick… only lasting about 12 hours… but still not good. Then last night, my wife. About an hour ago… my son succumbed at the dinner table. (all over the dinner table, if you must know!
)
So here I sit… after a nice full meal. Stomach churning and knotted up… knowing what is shortly in store. I feel perfectly fine, other than an exceptionally unsettled stomach. So I thought I’d post while I am still up and about. I thought it would be an interesting thing to share. Kindof like solving the murder of a man who is still alive. I’m working on my own case.
I think I have already solved it:
It was Colonel Mustard, in the conservatory, with the virulent children.
Since this weekend until now, three things for me have changed.
1) My Garbage can now looks like this:

2) After noticing clothes were coming out of the dryer still wet, I discovered my dryer vent duct looked like this (all twelve feet of it):

3) And many republican sycophants have been left looking like this:

Now I have recovered from Halloween candy wreckage. At some expense of filthy effort, my dryer vent is again clear. And we have some very inspirational things happening on capitol hill. Not that the three are related, but I wanted to show you guys the first two pics even though I really wanted to post a big HURRAH to the presidential elections.
I just hope the Republican party takes the message and is still capable of reform. They are more broken than I ever thought possible in America. (Not that Democrats are great, but at least they are capable of reforming their party.) Reaganomics are DEAD, people. Now we can move forward. Please move forward!
It has been a great long while since my last blog post. Sorry about that, my fellow reader. But priorities ebb and flow like the seas of my wife’s loins. And lately it has been more ebb than flow. At least in the metaphorical sense. (Technically the loins metaphor would put it in the FLOW category, but I digress…)
But it’s halloween, and we had a good trick or treat with good friends. Their daughter beat the snot out of me with a glowing wet noodle, but it’s all good. I put uppers in their halloween candy. The day is mine!

At some point I may catch up with a post of pics from the last month of fun. We did a cruise to the Mexican Riviera that was pretty cool. It was a very relaxing way to have a vacation.
I’ve been busy with work, and things are looking promising, despite a constant lack of sleep while I try to build something from nothing.

But, OK so I said it’s halloween. And you see the above pics of the kids in their costumes. My son went as Darth Vader, and my daughter went as Yoda. On the subject of the latter, I had another couple of pics that just screamed to be ’shopped. So ’shop I did.
It is no secret that I, sadly, really enjoy LOLCATS, and most of those cheeseball Internet captioned humor pics. I don’t know, it’s just my sophomoric humor, i guess. But I finally have my chance to author one. But I guess I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Peace out.
If your kids dump sand all over themselves, and you strip’em down, and use the hose on them in the back yard…

…you might be a redneck.
